Just Keep on Reading

          In our life, there are so many problems but we have a goal that we want to achieve and that is to have a successful future. We always dream on becoming a successful person someday. But before that, we need to learn how to read and write.

          When you know how to read, just keep on reading. Reading will help you. Reading develops our knowledge because every time that we read there are things that are new to us. When you are sad, reading will comfort you and will cheer you up. Reading is something that is fun, it might change the way you think about things but it will help you build your future. You will learn more when you read. When you think that reading isn't good, then you must start reading because learning is more fun when reading and it will guide you.

         Don't waste your time in doing bad things, just read, explore, and build your future. Just keep reading.

Gadgets

          Sa panahon ngayon na may maunlad na tayong teknolohiya, marami ng mga bagay na nagpapadali ng ating mga gawain. Sa paggising hanggang sa pagtulog, tinutulungan tayo ng teknolohiya. May mga gadgets na naglilibang at tumutulong sa atin. Napakarami nga namang magandang hatid ng teknolohiya sa atin pero alam pa ba natin kung paano ang wastong paggamit nito?

          Sa kasalukuyan, dahil sa patuloy na pag-unlad ng teknolohiya naglabasan na ang mga gadgets. Gadgets na kinahuhumalingan ng lahat at nagsulputan na rin ang iba't ibang anyo nito. Bata man o matanda gumagamit na ng mga gadgets. Marami na ang nahuhumaling dito pero dapat pa rin na alam natin ang limitasyon sa paggamit dito. Mas mabuti pa ring makihalubi at huwag palaging gadgets ang hawak. Gamitin ang gadgets sa wastong paraan o sa paglago ng ating sarili. May mga kabataan ngayon na sa sobrang hilig sa gadgets nakakaligtaan na ang wastong pangangalaga sa sarili at sa pakikipag-ugnayan. Huwag abusuhin ang sarili sa paggamit ng gadgets.

          Gamitin ang gadgets tungo sa malawakan at makalingang pakikipag-ugnayan sa kapwa at sa pamilya upang tayo ay mas maging maunlad.

Learn More

 

            Time flies so fast that it has been half of the school year already. This quarter was focused on the Internet Access. We also tackled about HTML or Hypertext Mark-up Language. At first I didn’t all of these but with the help of our teacher now I know. We learned about what internet access is and the different types of it. And we also learned about web browser and its parts.

            Second, we made HTML file. At first, I was a bit confused because of the different tags. I do not know when to use angle brackets with the slash. In making html file you should be very careful of tags because it might not work. I understood it already, I enjoyed making it and it is fun.

            Moving on, I will continue to learn more about the lessons. I will keep all of the things that I’ve learned and I will apply these when I need to. I will also share these to those who do not know. I’ll continue to learn and discover more things. I know these lessons will be helpful in the near future.

Be One with Human Rights

            

            Another month came and we are given the chance to celebrate the United Nations Month with the theme “Coming Together with Those Furthest behind Build an Inclusive World of Universal Rights and Dignity”.

There are so many problems in the world and human rights is the reason behind all of these problems. Human rights is always been the biggest problem. Some people do not care about this human rights. They just do what they want to do, they do not care if somebody is violated by them. Yes, we can say that there are so many laws for these but still they are violated. People are very proud of themselves they do not know that they are already degrading and forgetting human rights.  

Let’s deal with unity and be as one. Unity is the solution to the problems of the world. With all the problems that we are facing, we can’t handle all of these. We need to cooperate and be as one to solve the problems in the world. Let’s respect each other and love one another.

The People behind Success

           

            When we started schooling, the first person that approached us is our teacher. They are the one that comforted us when we cried. They built the foundation of our education our knowledge. They taught us in everything that they know. They made sacrifices for us. They stay up late just to make lesson plans.

 

            This October we are celebrating the month of our teachers with the theme “Gurong Filipino: Turo Mo, Kinabukasan Ko”. Indeed teachers are the people behind our success. They teach us things for our future. They give their best just to help us have a successful tomorrow. They help us in molding ourselves to be a better person. They’re also our second family that are always there if we need them.

            

       As a student, I’ve seen how valuable teachers are. They’ve been very patient with students like me. They teach everything that they know. They share thoughts and story about their selves to help us enjoy learning. Learning is a long journey in achieving our goals in life. Teachers are our buddy in learning that will help us in achieving our dreams. For me, it’s very nice to have a celebration for teachers to recognize how helpful and how valuable teachers are. I'm very grateful to all the teachers out there who are sacrificing just to help students grow having a lot of knowledge.

WAVEFRONT: Accentuating Potentials, Activating Technological Advancements

Nowadays technology is one of the important aspects of our lives. Technology makes us do our tasks easier. As technology advancement continues, there are more things that we can do. Technology provided us ways to communicate through internet. Technology provided us things that we can use in our everyday life.

Last September, the Science Month Celebration was held with the theme “Wavefront: Accentuating Potentials, Activating Technological Advancements”. In the celebration of the Science Month, Science Club conducted activities that aimed to promote the understanding of technology, to boost scientific knowledge of the youth, and to encourage the youth to participate actively in the Science Clubbing Month. The theme explains that we must use our potentials in generating new knowledge through technological advancements. Discovering more knowledge about technology could help our economy.

        As a person that also uses technology, I can say that because of technology I can make my tasks easier. But some people uses technology in a bad way. Technology makes them unproductive, they depend their life through technology. Technology is a big help but can we just use technology as a way to improve our knowledge and become more productive? Let us enjoy and use technology to improve our skills to discover new things that could help our developing country.

DISASTER RESILIENCE

          Disaster is a serious disruption, occurring over a relatively short time, of the functioning of a community or a society involving widespread human, material, economic or environmental loss and impacts, which exceeds the ability of the affected community or society to cope using its own resources. Disaster is expected or unexpected, it could occur anytime, you nay be ready or not.

          The Philippines is located on the Pacific Ring of Fire where many natural disasters occur like earthquake, and eruption of volcanoes. We are also beside the Pacific Ocean where most of the typhoons are formed.  We are also experiencing the Human Induced Disasters like war in Marawi. But despite all these disasters, we Filipinos are resilient. We can still smile after a disaster. We can still be able to stand up and rebuild what is broken after the disaster. Disaster resilience is one of the nice traits of Filipinos that we can be proud of.

          We Filipinos are resilient but still we should be more prepared. We  must practice what to do before, during, and after a disaster. Be strong and face the disasters with calm and peace on your mind that nothing bad will happen, it's just challenges that will make you stronger and tougher.
