Reflection

          In the last quarter we tackled all about photoshop and we tried to apply it in a real application. We were tasked to make a photoshop promotion for the school.

          For me, the photoshop is difficult at first because I don't already remember most of the uses of the icons. I don't even know the uses of the icons because I'm not into editing so I don't use photoshop.

             What I have  learn in the last quarter will be a great help for me if I need to edit something again. I will continue to learn more about editing because I know someday it'll become useful. 

My Dream, My Future

          "Every great dreams begin with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world." Every child or a person is a dreamer. All of us have dreams and plans. But with those who have a great dreams have more courage to reach their dreams, that's why theyre called a dreamer. But every person have the will and power to reach their dreams if they really want to, if they have the courage and the persistence to achieve it.

          As for me, I can call myself as a dreamer too. I have a lot of dreams that I really want to achieve. A dream that is almost impossible that I can achieve. But they say, if you have the courage and persistence you can make all things possible. I'm still a student but I'm really trying my best to make a better living and to achieve my dreams in the future. I want to help others soon especially those who badly needs help. I want to serve others, to serve our country.

          I know that whatever a child dreams of it will come true as long as determination is with him. All of our dreams will come true, we just have to work hard for it. And have faith in Him.

ISNHS 117th Foundation Day

           Foundation Day is a celebration in a school to commemorate when a school was established. It is one of the awaited event in a school. It is an annual celebration that every student participates.

           Ilocos Sur National High School recently celebrated its 117th Foundation Day on March 1-2, 2019. The event lasted for two days. The first day is the coronation of the 9th Prince's and Princesses and the King and Queen held at the Centennial Gymnasium of the school. The second day celebrated with the parade of every grade level with their costumes. After the parade, the students of every grade level performed their field demonstration with variety of dances. The teachers also performed a dance. 

          At the end of the celebration, both grade 8 girls and 8 boys have been awarded champion as the best performers of every grade level.

Kannawidan Ylocos Festival: Pride of Ilocos Sur

            Ilocos Sur is celebrating a festival called "Kannawidan Ylocos Festival" that highlights the Ilocano culture and traditions. This is a celebration that lasts from the last week of January up to the second week of February.

              On the opening of the festival there is usually a mass held at St. Paul Cathedral and followed by a procession of Saints. The mass is the way of Ilocanos as a thanks giving to God for the blessings. After the mass there is also a colorful fireworks display.

              The festival is full of activities that people will surely enjoy. Almost all of the activities is held at Tamag Grounds, where the One Town One Product is also presented. There are also street dancings that is also the awaited of this event, that showcases the traditional dances with different styles. Filipino artists are also invited to perform at nights celebrate with the Ilocanos.

Change: Starts With Me

          We always wanted to have a happy life, to have have a peaceful life. But in this world full of unsolved problems and issues, does this makes you happy? We always want an improvement to our society yet we don't follow simple rules. We always complain on what is happening without realizing that problem is in ourselves.

          If we want an improvement in our society, we need to look for the best decision. We need to help in our society, we should not depend ourselves in the government. We have our own responsibilities also that we need to do. We need to function for a change. We need to change the world into a better place if we want. But before of that, we need to look at ourselves and reflect. We must think that the change starts with ourselves. The simplest thing that we do can make a big change in this world. We have the power to change if we want to. We can do big things if we can do the little.

           We must change if we want to improve this world. We can do all things if we want to. We must take actions if others can't. We must start to change ourselves and then the change for the better place will come. We need to stand to change this world into a better place.

New Year, New Me

            We just entered another year again. Another year to be thankful for what we have, for what God has given to us. Another year to face the challenges that will come in our life. The past years may not be that good to us but this new year we can make it worth it despite the past. We can all make things right if we want it to be. We make goals and try to achieve them for the betterment of ourselves. 

              

            In the past years, I've experienced the best and the worst. Many problems came to my way that made me cry and fall. I lost someone who became a part of my life and  gained someone better that is a part of my life at this moment. I lost myself, I became hopeless of all the things, I didn't know what should I do, and who I supposed to be. I didn't know who's there to help me, I stressed myself out with negative thoughts. I always enjoy my loner life without realizing that it is better to socialize. But God was there to save me and made my life lighter than before. I became aware that I have my family and friends to help me get through things. Those sleepless nights and tiring days made me sick because of school requirements and such but it was all worth it. I learned a lot of lessons in my life.

       
            This 2019 I think will be a roller coaster ride for me again. A lot of problems will come and will try to make myself down, but facing those problems with positive mind will help me get through it and  will lift me up. Acceptance is another thing. Accepting those who come in our life will help me out. Facing those challenges with a smile will turn out good after.

            Some people says that New Year, New Self. For me I won't change my character just because it's new year but I'll try to make myself a better person. I will set goals and try to achieve them again. I'll be more focused in studies, especially I'll enter senior high school this next school year and soon will enter college. I will be more aware of my surroundings, on what is happening. I will do more good things in my life. I'll spend more time on my family and friends but it won't change that loner side of me. I'll try to be more active in life and try to get rid of being silent all the time. I'll try to become more responsible and independent. I'll grab those opportunities that will come in my life. I know I can survive this year again with the help of God who gives me strength in times of bad.

Reflection

           Another quarter of the ICT has ended. This quarter was still in the HTML tags. Making HTML file with different styles using background, font, font colors, and others. We made HTML files using those different tags.

               

During this quarter, making an html file wasn’t easy at all, especially when you can’t easily remember those tags or when you do not know the right tag. it’s confusing but enjoyable because you learn new knowledge about making an HTML file. For me, making those html file is fun.

               

Moreover, I will always treasure these new knowledge about making html file. And I will try to share these knowledge with my friends and relatives.
