Good Day Mr. President! I am Alona Joy Uganiza, currently studying as grade 10 student at Ilocos Sur National High School. I would like to express my gratitude to you for trying to make our country a drug and a crime free country. I know that you're doing everything that you can for our country.

I just wanna say that please have an action first to those who have difficulties in life. To those children on streets who have nothing but problems. To those who lack in food and shelter. Difficulties and lack of money is also the reason why people do crime. And to the Human Rights also because I think its been violated by your campaign 'war on drugs'.

I will always be thankful to you. And I hope that our country will turn into a fine and a peaceful country this coming years. I'm looking forward to your actions sir.

Independence Day is a day when we celebrate the anniversary of national independence. An annual national holiday in the Philippines that is observed on June 12, commemorating the Independence of Philippines from Spain. A very important date in the Philippine history.

We here in the Philippines are celebrating this national freedom that was a product of the bravery of our national heroes who fought for our country. We celebrate this as a tradition already. We honor our national heroes by having this holiday.

We Filipinos should always know why we celebrate this holiday. We should always be thankful to our ancestors. They fought for this freedom that we have now. We should always know what's behind this freedom that we have. We should celebrate this independence of our country with love and happiness.
